Grants of up to $11,000 were recommended in May. The recipients were:

Contribution to the Visitors Guide - $500.
$3,500 Seeds Bendigo
A program for young males from the Long Gully area, helping them experience positive activities rather than negative ones. For transport and food costs - $3,500.
$4,000 Eaglehawk Playgroup
Towards erection of Sunsails. Up to $4,000.
$3,000 California Gully Primary School
for Health Trail equipment up to $3,000.

Grants totalling $7,500 were distributed in October. The recipients were:

$500 each (total $1000) towards travelling and other expenses whilst representing Australia at the World Age Games in Quebec Canada in early November 2007

$1,500 Anglican Parish of Eaglehawk/Eaglehawk Community Hands on Health Program (ECHOH)
